Tamil Nadu Innovation Modernization through Problem Solving and Advanced Creative Tech is a flagship initiative of the Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM). It is designed to bridge the gap between industry and academia by creating a structured platform where real-world industrial challenges are addressed through student-driven innovation. The program brings together industries, MSMEs, startups, students, and researchers to co-create practical, innovative, and technology-enabled solutions. Industries contribute problem statements in areas such as process improvement, product design, automation, digital manufacturing, quality enhancement, and sustainability, while student teams, guided by expert mentors, work on designing feasible solutions that can be directly adopted or further developed by industry partners. By fostering collaboration, applied learning, and innovation, TN-IMPACT strengthens Tamil Nadu’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing, R&D, and future-ready talent.
