The TANCAM’s Hackathon – TN-IMPACT will be launched on 6th October 2025 by the Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM).
This initiative serves as a collaborative platform where industries present real-time problem statements and student teams work towards developing innovative, technology-driven, and practical solutions. The event aims to:

Objective of the Event
The TANCAM’s Hackathon is conceived as a strategic initiative to accelerate collaboration between industry and academia in advanced manufacturing and allied technologies. Its core objectives are to:
- Bridge the gap between industry-defined challenges and academic problem-solving capabilities.
- Facilitate student teams in addressing real-time industrial problem statements with structured methodologies.
- Promote the development of practical, innovative, and feasible solutions aligned with current and emerging industrial requirements.
- Strengthen the industry–academia ecosystem in Tamil Nadu through applied learning, innovation, and knowledge transfer.
- Enable industries to access fresh perspectives and cost-effective ideas, while equipping students with hands-on experience, industry mentorship, and exposure to real-world challenge

- 10th September 2025 – Last date for industries to submit problem statements.
- 6th October 2025 – Official launch and inauguration of the event, followed by hackathon activities and presentations (To be announced soon).
